About Delphinium Delphina Dark Blue White Bee
We’re very excited by the newly bred delphinium. The “Delphina” is an elatum type which means its flowers will cluster along strong straight stems but unlike all other Delphiniums they are the shortest ones yet reaching approximately 18-20”. The flowers are big and double and the coloring magnificent. Of course, there is no need for staking and they belong front and center.

Planting and Growing Delphiniums
Make sure to “harden off” your Delphiniums before planting to prevent shock. Prepare your planting hole by turning the soil at least a shovel size deep and wide and be sure the hole is filled with plenty of organic matter for best results. Plant deep enough to cover the top of the root ball. Press down firmly on the soil and then water it in. Consider fertilizing once or twice a season. Stake if needed.
